The Scribe of Sorcery

As you enter the room, someone casts an Antispell at you. "Please take no offense," says a wizard sitting by the fire, preparing another Antispell already, "This is a sanctuary for all wizards, and as such magic is not allowed within these walls."

Welcome brave traveler to the humble study of the Scribe of Sorcery. Within these walls you will find a vast library of magical learning, and a safe haven for wizards everywhere. As proponents of the artistry of our craft, we also sponsor contests between wizards, so do please inquire as to our current plans. Make yourself at home, and draw a seat by the fire, there is much we can learn from each other.

The Scribe of Sorcery is a website primarily concerned with publishing a Zine of the same name. Our site and Zine are centered around the discussion of Richard Bartle's Waving Hands or Spellcaster, and the organization of tournaments for players. In particular a lot of information contained on this site revolves around RavenBlack's Warlocks, which is quite possibly the best implementation of Waving Hands, and most definitely the most organized and friendly.

Our Zine is released on a monthly schedule, and is available on-line for free in both ps and pdf formats. In addition we offer a paper copy of the Zine which can be mailed to subscribers ever month at a reasonable price.
