Announcing the first ever Waving Hands World Championships! Bring
your spells, your charms, and your curses. The Warlocks of the world are
all bearing down on one place, at one time, with one purpose uniting them
all... to prove that they are the best player in the world.
The plan is to run the tournament through games on Warlocks,
through a double elimination tournament (winners and loosers
brackets) The official tournament rules are as follows:

- Players e-mail our tournament coordinator, indicating their
willingness to participate.
- Players are seeded for the first round of the tournament based on
their W/L record.
- Players who have played less than 20 ladder or friendly games by
the start of the tournament will be seeded as if they have a 0.00 W/L
record. This is to prevent stacking an unfairly high W/L record for a
better seed.
- Players set up their matches on Warlocks, and BOTH players e-mail
the tournament coordinator with the number of the game. Ladder and
Friendly games count, Very Friendly games do not.
- Players will have 7 days to complete their match, failure to do
so will result in a judgement by tournament officials as to the victor, if
any, from the match.
- All players initially begin in the winners bracket. If they are
defeated, they then move to the loosers bracket, where they continue
play. If they are eliminated while in the loosers bracket, they are
eliminated from the tournament
- At the end of the tournament, the winner of the winners bracket
will play the winner of the loosers bracket. During the final match, the
player who won the winners bracket need only win one game to take the
title (due to their undefeated record), whereas the the player from the
loosers bracket must win two consecutive rounds in order to take the
title.
- If necessary, bys will be granted to players with higher W/L
ratios.
